Partners for Leadership is delighted to announce the dates for our 2027 senior leadership retreats.

The three retreats – which will be held at Cumberland Lodge, an exclusive venue in Windsor Great Park – will take place on 23-24 February, 8-9 June and 21-22 September 2027.

Booking is now open here.

Emma Jordan helps to project manage each retreat on behalf of Telos Partners, who deliver our strategic leadership experience in association with P4L.

‘With Partners for Leadership’s September 2026 retreat now at capacity, it’s great to be able to share 2027’s dates so leaders can reserve their place well in advance,’ she says.

‘Participant feedback from the last retreat in June was very positive – with one delegate describing it as ‘an unrivalled opportunity to challenge your own thinking… through conversations with a wide range of serious leaders’,' Emma adds.

‘It’s fantastic to see how Partners for Leadership is continuing to evolve and grow.’

Supporting strategic leaders to step up

Created for senior leaders and those on the path to the top, P4L is a two-year strategic leadership experience that helps organisations prepare their next generation to step up – and ensure they lead the field once in role.

Our six overnight retreats (three each year) are one of the experience’s key strengths.

Each plays a key role in supporting participants to make the transition from operational to strategic leader – alongside cross-sector interaction and learning, webinars and one-to-one access to one of P4L’s high-calibre Critical Friends.

‘Our retreats offer participants a safe and quiet space with minimal distractions – a luxury to most senior leaders,’ confirms Telos Partners’ Coralie Hooper, who works closely with Emma to coordinate each retreat.

‘In a busy and complex world, having 24 hours to reflect on your own leadership and what’s going on (geopolitically/economically) – and having non-judgmental peers to discuss it with, to offer challenge, insight and support – is so important.’

What participants say about our strategic leadership retreats

'Most valuable was getting into the minds/thinking of leaders from a breadth of different industries and organisations, as well as time to reflect'

So what did P4L participants say about our most recent Cumberland Lodge retreat in June?

The venue was amazing, as always, and most valuable was the discussion and reflection,’ says one leader who was there.

‘Once again I really enjoyed it – the ability to have time to talk and reflect,’ says another.

‘The walk and talk proved a perfect end, where you get the chance to talk to people you may have missed throughout the earlier sessions [and] perhaps to go deeper into understanding someone's background and what makes them think.’

A third participant highlights how the retreat ‘allows you as an individual to break away from the daily routine [and] interact with like-minded peers…

‘With the addition of guest speakers, it allows for information and experiences to be debated and shared in a relaxed and private way,’ they say.

Another concludes: ‘Most valuable was getting into the minds/thinking of leaders from a breadth of different industries and organisations, as well as time to reflect on team vision and how to identify and capitalise on the ‘spine’.’
