Phil Reddall joins P4L as a Strategic Advisor

We are delighted to announce that Phil Reddall – a principal consultant and strategic advisor for a range of organisations and leading EdTech businesses – has joined Partners for Leadership (P4L) as a Strategic Advisor on our executive team.

Phil brings deep experience in learning strategy, leadership development and organisational transformation, helping individuals and teams build clarity, confidence and practical momentum.

He also has strong connections within the wider leadership, HR and capability community and industry, partly through his advisory work and as an awards judge.

Phil's career background includes many years as an internal leader at the John Lewis Partnership, delivering large‑scale management development and cultural change, and at Thames Water delivering a learning transformation at scale.

In his new role with Partners for Leadership, Phil will contribute to the strategic development of our proposition and community, helping to strengthen how we develop leader/participant growth and support their long-term transition into senior strategic roles.

Supporting strategic leaders to step up and succeed

'I'm looking forward to supporting Partners for Leadership's success by helping ensure participants get real value from the experience [and] feel part of a strong leadership community'

Executive team member Peter Ward welcomes Phil to our team.

'Partners for Leadership has successfully entered its next stage of development,' he says. 'We're increasing our capacity to help leaders in strategically important roles to develop their capabilities to navigate the challenges of a volatile external environment where change is a constant.

'We're delighted that Phil has decided to contribute his knowledge and experience to sustain Partners for Leadership's success.'

Having attended P4L's last leadership retreat in June, Phil's looking forward to supporting our final cohort of 2026 this month – as well as contributing to our next three leadership retreats at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park in February, June and September 2027.

'I’m looking forward to supporting P4L’s success by helping ensure participants get real value from the experience, feel part of a strong leadership community and benefit from being part of something that helps them transition into senior leadership as it continues to grow and strengthen over time,' says Phil.

‘I always focus on purpose, clarity, practical progress and building relationships that give confidence. I’m collaborative and evidence‑based, and I try to work in a way that helps people feel supported, capable and able to move forward,' he adds.

‘For P4L’s participants, that will mean creating a development environment that feels safe, open, purposeful and achievable. For the P4L team, it will mean being a strategic partner who brings rigour, simplicity, momentum and commerciality.’

In his free time, Phil enjoys being outdoors, cycling, hiking and exploring new places with his family. ‘Anything that involves maps, mountains or pedalling tends to keep me happy,’ he reveals.

We can’t promise Phil any mountains, but would like to warmly welcome him to our Partners for Leadership team.
